"Life News" said : O.J. Simpson Prosecutor Marcia Clark Headlines Planned Parenthood Fundraiser

During another fundraiser for its abortion work this month in Texas, Planned Parenthood welcomed Marcia Clark, best known as the prosecutor in the O.J. The event raised more than $1 million for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Dallas News reports. Their plan to repeal Obamacare includes provisions that would revoke funding for Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood currently receives about half a billion tax dollars and performs about 320,000 abortions annually. Planned Parenthood also has been caught in numerous scandals involving Medicaid fraud and failures to report suspected sex trafficking and sexual abuse of minors.

Clark was the keynote speaker at the annual Dallas awards luncheon for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported. Planned Parenthood health centers offer birth control, cancer screenings, HIV tests and other care in addition to abortions. Former first daughter Barbara Bush spoke at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser last week in Fort Worth. "I think Planned Parenthood is in jeopardy and that means millions of low-income women in particular, their lives, their health, [and] the health of their children is in jeopardy," Clark said. President Donald Trump said during a presidential debate that though millions of women are helped by Planned Parenthood, he would remove funding because of "the abortion factor."

March was a natural choice as special guest, because her great-grandmother founded the West Texas Mother's Health Center, which later became part of Planned Parenthood of West Texas, in 1938. Event co-chair Lindsay Billingsley was hoping to make headlines on March 8, aka International Women's Day, when Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas hosted its 2017 Dallas awards luncheon. It was then that Billingsley admitted she was a bit jealous of the publicity the Fort Worth Planned Parenthood luncheon — and its speaker, Barbara Bush — had received.
