The proposed business park is south of West Ryan Road and east of South 13th Street up to the Canadian Pacific railroad tracks. Oak Creek could spend up to $30 million on the new business park. The TIF project plan for the parcel will go to public hearing at the July 24 plan commission meeting. The business park project is 14 years in the making due to multiple parcel owners, including Milwaukee County, according to Faber.
Drug giant Pfizer to split into three units, including a new hospital business
Pfizer said on Wednesday it would reorganize into three units, separating its consumer health-care business that the U.S. drugmaker has been trying to sell since last year. The units would be Innovative Medicines, Established Medicines and Consumer Healthcare. The company is currently split into two units - Innovative Medicines, which includes the consumer business, and Essential Health. The Innovative Medicines business will now also include biosimilars and a new hospital business unit, and together with the Consumer Healthcare business, will account for about three-quarters of the company's revenue. Pfizer said it would still evaluate options for its consumer healthcare business and expects to make a decision in 2018.

The new hospital medicines unit will be part of Innovative Medicines, which will also include all of the current innovative health units and biosimilars. The other units will be Established Medicines, which will include most off-patent solid oral dose legacy grands, including Lyrica, Lipitor and Viagra, and certain generic medicines; and Consumer Healthcare, which will include all over-the-counter medicines. The changes will be effective at the beginning of fiscal 2019. Pfizer said the changes aren't expected to affect capital allocation priorities or 2018 financial guidance.
